Dwelling of ancient noble families, the Castle of Drugolo tells 600 years of history of Brescia and of the Riviera of Lake Garda.

The Castle of Drugolo is located inside Borgo di Drugolo, private property on the hills of Lake Garda between Lonato, Bedizzole and Padenghe, inhabited since the Celtic era.

The name "Drugolo" derives precisely from the Celts and the Indo-European language, from the term used to indicate the oak woods sacred to Jupiter.

Probably built by the noble Griffi family inside a farm owned by an ancient Roman family, the castle was initially subjected to the dominion of the monastery of S. Pietro in Monte Ursino.
